Simplicity

Like most of you, we’ve been spending more time in our home the past few weeks. Doing things we don’t always take the time to do like cleaning our cupboards and closets, trying new recipes, dressing up the cats...

As our lives have slowed down and we are spending more time at home, we are seeing our house in a different light. There are things we are appreciating more. We love the small size of the house. The simple functionality of the kitchen and bathrooms. Love, love, love the dining table that has doubled as a desk. The beauty of the wood grain in a headboard. The look and cleanliness of the hardwood floors throughout (our big project last summer).

There are also things that we have realized we probably need to change. Who ever thought the built in entertainment center was a good idea??? We’ve already started designing a new entertainment piece that will fit our lifestyle.

We’ve realized what works for us are rooms and furniture that are functional, high quality, solid wood, easy care, and has a timeless design. Simplicity through great design.
